About us
Here's what we want everyone to know about IBS: we have been helping people and businesses communicate ideas since 1974. We have 30+ years of business experience in the office equipment industry. Our service technicians have an average tenure with IBS of 12+ years. Our sales territory covers Cook, Du Page and Kane counties. Our customer base is composed of a mixture of commercial accounts, municipalities, churches and schools.
About Our President
Richard M. Mytnik holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA degree and since 1980 has been building and leading teams of motivated, successful individuals. All of the teams Rick has worked on have had a strong customer satisfaction orientation. The results speak for themselves, thousands of satisfied, repeat customers. Prior to his position as President of Illinois Business Systems, Mr. Mytnik held positions as Vice President and General Manager of RISO, Inc. , Director of Regional Sales for Canon USA, and was the International Sales Support Manager for the NCR Corporation.
